About Us
The mission of PRIDE is to foster a more inclusive environment for all queer students, faculty/administrative staff, and allied community members of Midwestern University. We hope to encourage advocacy for LGBTQ+ healthcare workers and patients, as well as open discussions regarding healthcare policies that affect the LGBTQ+ community. Finally, we aim to celebrate everyone's diverse gender identities and sexual orientations and create safe spaces where all people can live with authenticity, access vital academic and medical resources, and feel a profound sense of belonging and pride.
