Mission
As future healthcare professionals, we feel that it is important to learn how to treat patients with diverse cultural backgrounds in a sensitive manner. Through our APAMSA chapter at Midwestern, we hope to offer students a chance to understand the cultural aspects and healthcare disparities of the Asian Pacific American community to prepare them in their future diverse patient encounters.

We plan to work closely with a local organization in Maricopa County, Asian Pacific Community in Action, to volunteer in education and prevention programs, health fairs, and screenings.
